Re-elect Elect Steve Mikulski and elect Ernie Troiano for Wildwood Commissioners.

Putting Wildwood First

“Putting Wildwood First” means exactly what it says. The residents of Wildwood must be the top priority in everything elected officials do. Time to serve, promote and give back to the city of Wildwood and always believed that elected officials must be public servants responsible for responding to the needs of the people.

Meet the Candidates

Re-Elect Steve Mikulski

for Wildwood Commissioner – Position 1

Re-elect Elect Steve Mikulsk for Wildwood Commissioners - Position 1. Steve Mikulski was born and raised in Medford, NJ.  After honorably completing his service to our nation in the US Navy, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry.  As a child and young adult, Steve enjoyed traveling to Wildwood, where he loved our fantastic boardwalk and beach.  In 2008, Steve and his wife decided to fulfill their dream by buying the old landmark Hen House Restaurant on Pacific Avenue, renovating it to become the popular, year-round Key West Café.  Steve has dedicated his life to his wife Jackie, step-children Dan and Dayna, his two grandchildren, his family’s business, and the Wildwood community he loves.  Steve became Commissioner of Public Safety in 2020.  He realigned Fire and EMS contract, assisted engineers on the Dune Project, worked with the Army Corps of Engineers, restructured the Code Department, oversaw traffic studies on Ocean Avenue, Park Blvd. and Atlantic Avenue, and spearheaded the revision of unclear and outdated ordinances.

Elect Ernie Troiano for Wildwood Commissioners - Position 2.

Ernie Troiano Jr.

for Wildwood Commissioner – Position 2

I am Ernie Troiano Jr., born in Wildwood, the third of five generations here.  My wife Donna and I have been married for 50 years and live at 157 W. Leaming Avenue.  We have a daughter, Eryn, two sons, Ernie and Ryan, and nine grandchildren.  All attended or are attending the Wildwood Public School system.

I am a 1969 WHS graduate who attended college for three years before deciding to help my father in a new business known as Rio Grande Building Materials, then the largest concrete and block plant around.  I operated that plant for 15 years until it changed hands.  I then reopened E. Troiano & Sons, which dates back 105 years here, and have steadily grown the business.
I served 14 years on the Zoning Board, 11 years on the School Board, 50 years in the Fire Department (rising to Battalion chief), Commissioner and Mayor for 18.5 years, 43 years as Treasurer of the Holly Beach Fire Company, Treasurer of the Wildwood Firemen’s Relief Fund, Member of Five Mile Beach Firemen’s Convention Committee, NJ Firemen’s Exempt Association, Sons of Italy State Lodge Man of the Year, twice recipient of the Chapel of the Four Chaplains, Public Works Director of the Year by the State Public Works Board, inducted into the South Jersey Basketball hall of Fame and presently a director, Executive Director of the Boardwalk Basketball Classic, Honorary Member of the Michael P. Callahan Chapter 955 Vietnam Veterans, and many others recognitions.

I am strongly pro-Wildwood and community-minded, and I believe in giving back.
